Scope of Services
Scraping Geek receives client data requests, reviews proposed public sources, defines the expected fields and deliverables, and prepares structured datasets. Scraping Geek is not an API business, SaaS dashboard, or self-service cloud scraping platform.
Managed Public Data Collection
Accepted projects are limited to publicly available web data. Scraping Geek does not promise that every source, website, field, or record can be collected. Feasibility depends on source access, visible fields, technical limits, compliance review, and approved scope.
Project Review and Acceptance
Every project is reviewed before acceptance. Scraping Geek may reject, narrow, pause, or revise a request if the source, requested fields, volume, timing, or intended use is not appropriate for the managed service.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate instructions, public source examples, expected fields, non-sensitive sample files, delivery requirements, and a truthful description of the intended business use of the delivered data.
Public Data and Source Restrictions
Scraping Geek does not accept requests for private areas, login-protected content, restricted systems, sensitive personal data, credentials, passwords, or data that is not intended to be publicly accessible. Requested fields may be limited or declined after review.
Prohibited Requests
Prohibited requests include attempts to obtain private data, sensitive records, medical records, financial personal records, credentials, instructions for unauthorized access, support for avoiding access controls, or data collection for misleading, harmful, or unlawful use.
Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
Pricing is quote-based and depends on source complexity, number of sources, record volume, required fields, cleaning depth, deduplication, delivery format, timing, recurrence, and compliance review. Work begins after scope and payment terms are agreed.
Delivery, Revisions, and Acceptance
Deliverables are provided in the agreed format, such as CSV, XLSX, JSON, Google Sheets-ready files, or a custom format. If a delivery does not match the approved scope, Scraping Geek will review the issue and prioritize reasonable correction or revision.
Uploaded Files and Client Materials
Uploaded files should be used to show examples, templates, source lists, or expected output structure. Clients should not upload private, sensitive, confidential, or restricted data unless explicitly reviewed and approved for that purpose.
Confidentiality
Scraping Geek treats project details, client files, source lists, and commercial requirements with operational discretion. Quote requests and project discussions are not intended for public disclosure.
Intellectual Property and Deliverables
Unless otherwise agreed, delivered datasets are prepared for the client's approved business use. Scraping Geek retains its internal methods, scripts, workflows, templates, and operational know-how.
Third-Party Websites and Sources
Third-party websites and sources are not controlled by Scraping Geek. Their availability, structure, content, rate limits, access rules, and field visibility may change and may affect scope, pricing, timing, or feasibility.
Compliance and Lawful Use
Clients are responsible for using delivered data in a lawful and appropriate manner. Scraping Geek performs project review but does not provide legal advice or guarantee that a particular use is legally sufficient in every jurisdiction.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, scope changes, and refund requests are handled according to the approved scope, project status, and work already performed. The Refund Policy provides additional operational guidance.
Disclaimers
Public web data can be incomplete, inconsistent, changed, removed, or unavailable. Scraping Geek performs quality checks and cleaning, but does not guarantee completeness of third-party sources or continuous availability of external websites.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to owner and legal review, commercial responsibility should be limited to the approved project scope and fees paid for the relevant project, except where applicable rules require otherwise.

These Terms may be updated to reflect operational, technical, legal, or business changes. The published version applies to the site experience at the time it is viewed.
